Mount Seymour - January 2002
Mount Seymour's 3rd and final "Pump" as seen from the 2nd "Pump".

Faced with yet more unusually spectacular winter weather up in the BC coast range, I decided to give the in-bounds snowboarding a rest and hike up to the summit of Mount. Seymour and ride the freshies back down. I intended to rent a splitboard from MEC, but settled on just using my snowshoes when I was told that they were all rented out. So, up I went and after a short ride down from the Brockton chair, I strapped on my snowshoes and started hiking up to Mount Seymour's first Pump. (Photos: SV)
