"4 Star" surf at Westport - Oct. 27
Now that Old Man Winter has finally regrouped and appears poised to resume a more winter-like pattern of cold weather and mountain snow, I thought I might leave you with a couple parting shots of a relatively balmy day on the coast. The surf at Westport can be so hit-or-miss sometimes, but with a 6-foot swell, 13-second period and light offshore breeze (according to MagicSeaweed), near-perfect surf conditions seemed guaranteed. The forecast was spot on...if only it was like this all the time!
